weird. . . . .

why the heck am i wasting my time blogging when i should be using my june holidays for...i dunno, something else?

because.

that's it. just because. because there IS nothing else to do except homework, and let's face it, who wants to do homework when they've just returned from a one-day camp?

i dunno who, but it's definitely not me.

but anyway. i haven't blogged for a long, long time, and when i did, it was incredible short, summary posts.

my last post was about my MYEs, right?

let's just say my MYE results didn't come out so well, and leave it at that.

so i'm just bored. heck of a bored. my lip is peeling, i'm thinking about five things that i want to blog about but i'm too lazy to and i am hearing my bro get all chummy with a guy who, incidentally, is not just cute but i have known since i was what, p4?

life can suck bad sometimes.

but hey, guess what? at least i'm A.L.I.V.E. that's more than i can say for some people. at LEAST i can appreciate good things. and good looks. especially when it comes to good-looking boys.

BUT not to the extent that i am boy-crazy, like someone i know, who goes all soft whenever she sees someone REMOTELY good-looking.

"OH, MY GOD! HE'S SO CUTE!! OH MY GOD!!!"

i tell you, it's enough to make me sick. and i don't feel sick very often.

WHO AM I KIDDING?!

my life is totally deprived. TOTALLY. i want to get out more and meet more people, but i am clueless as to how. AND, yes there's an AND, it doesn't help that my brother is getting friendlier and friendlier by the minute with two guys that i know and like. one of whom's bro happens to be MY bro's good friend.

GOD. sometimes my life pales in comparison to my brother's.

but anyway. before i start COMPLAINING to the extent that i start whining.

i need to get sidetracked, fast. and how better to do that than describing yesterday?

okay, basically, the bloody thing was next to a golf course NEXT to home team ns club or whatever at bukit batok west avenue 7.

but we got lost, so we, namely me, fatin, benjamin and amalia plus her dad who gave us a lift, stood around in the lobby until someone directed us. even then we were late.

we did four activities; two before lunch and two after. before lunch i, or my group, did ab-seiling (or however it's spelled) and rock climbing, and after we did a high rope course and TIC.

since people tend to know more about the first three, i will only describe TIC.

there are four stations, or more, but i only went to four, so whatever. so there are four stations. one is a long, long, long log that everyone has to stand on and number off.

after numbering off, all people with odd numbers stepped OFF the log, and even mumbers stayed on. the even numbers had to adjust according to height WITHOUT stepping off the log.

needless to say it didn't go very well.

then it was the ODD numbers turn. WE had to adjust according to birthday. i was standing right at the back because we thought had to adjust according to height. turns out i was eldest anyway, at october 27, so i saved a lot of trouble.

the other one was that we had to swing from one plank to another using a rope with a loop at the end to put our foot in. i went first, incidentally.

the third one was a see-saw. THAT one was easy-we only took five minutes to balance the see-saw EXACTLY and sing twinkle-twinkle little star.

the fourth one was interesting. it looked like a giant box upside down with one long wall up one side. we had to climb up using the wall.

some people had to jump. two people supported. again, i was the first female to go up.

i am ALWAYS the first girl. man.

but after the camp, we had a free shuttle to bukit gombak mrt station. amalia bought a card to jurong east. then, at jurong east, we switched trains to pasir ris. incidentally, at clementi, we remembered that the card was only to jurong east, so we went BACK to jurong east from clementi, tapped out, returned the card, bought one to pasir ris and tapped in.

the whole process took like one hour plus, since we also ate at jurong east entertainment watever.

then we went BACK to pasir ris. i tell you, there were a whole lot of indians there. we stood and stood until we wanted to faint. at simei we finally got a seat.

i went back and zonked out for fifteen hours straight. in my jeans and ncdcc shirt, no less.

what a day, huh?
