i am so so sick of those type of people that are so freaking racist.

like lit the other day. alvin kept on talking so much about banglas that mr faizal was gonna ban the word "bangladesh". i think even if he did, nobody would've listened to him. lucky they got distracted by mr william farquhar and the proper pronounciation of farquhar.

but anyway. the other day my neighbour was like, be careful, later all those indian people will take your stuff.

get this fact straight. i am not siding banglas, although someone should side them. i'm not siding those ppl that are so damn racist. i am definitely not siding alvin, who is the most racist of em all.

but get this: foreign workers are humans. same as hindus or chinese or malays or christians. they have blood in their body, they sleep, drink and eat, and they have families to feed.

i know some sarcastic ppl like alvin out there will be totally sarcastic about that last part, but who cares. ppl like alvin are permanantly sarcastic anyway.

& get this fact straight. just because there have been reports of foreign workers like maid stealing stuff does not mean ALL workers are like that, okay? if you look at newspaper articles closely, there are more incidents of workers dying BECAUSE they work here and not the other way around.

get that? THE BANGLAS DIE WHEN THEY WORK HERE.

they come to singapore from bangladesh or whereever issit they're from and they die trying to make money for their family. THAT IS A FACT.

then some ppl have to go be racist? please.

i'm not saying that ppl can't joke about banglas. i'm guessing that ppl over in america joke about US. & for alvin's info, the first few times you mention banglas it's funny. but it gets old after a while. get that in your head.
